Lactation Cookies – What is that?
I didn’t know Lactation cookies were exciting until I did a google search (how to produce more milk) and I discovered you can buy Lactation cookies! I can tell you I smiled at it and thought why not to give it a try!
I bought my first lactation cookies on Amazon when the girls were a month old! It is quite expensive but I can guarantee they are yummy and it worked! I was eating one a day! And usually after 20min, I could say I wanted the girls to eat 🙂 If you know what I mean!!!!! It really worked wonders while building my supply.
They are very big cookie with chocolate chips and its kind of a treat when you are tired! What more can I say? Yummy, big, increases my milk supply.
Today I decided I will baked them with the girls!

The girls like to look at what I am doing so I brought them with me to the kitchen floor! Ok I can say It is not the safest place to be but I put them where nothing could really happen! And to tell you the truth, I prefer they are with me and happy than on the play mat crying!!!
So we baked together! I tell them what I am doing and show them! Okay it is a little silly but they say that you should speak to your baby as much as you can! it is good for the language! So I do it! It is not easy to speak to a baby so by doing something and explaining what you are doing it is 100 times easier!
Here my recipe:

1.5 tablespoons flaxseed meal
2 tablespoons water
1/2 cup soft butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1.5 cups oats
1/2 cup chocolate chips
3 tablespoons brewer’s yeast
Turn your oven to 350 degrees f.
First mix flaxseed meal with water and let sit for 5 minutes
During this 5 minutes, Mix soft butter with sugar and brown sugar. Add egg, mix well.
Add the flaxseed meal and the vanilla
in another cup, put together flour, brewers yeast and baking soda.
add this to the butter mixture. and for the end mix the oats and the chocolate chips…
Put on the pan and put it on the oven for 10-15 minutes.
Wait until cold to eat it!
Just by writing the recipe, my mouth is watery…
Does increase my milk production? I am not sure yet but I now they are yummy!!!
For people who don’t need to produce milk, do the same recipe but don’t have the brewer’s yeast. Try it you will be not disappointed!!!
Andrew ate some and he didn’t have any increase of milk production! (too bad I would have gave him the night shift!) ha haha!! just kidding!!
